Background:
Jorlin lived a fairly quiet life for a long time as a tinkerer for a time. He eventually grew bored with his humdrum life of tinkering, and while some gadgetry was intriguing to work on, invent and produce. The gnome eventually grew bored and drawn to another purpose. Seeking to travel and see more of the world out there. Oddly enough Jorlin, had a near death experience when he was about 55 years of age, and something he felt and saw that day gave him a new inspiration one of a divine calling. At what would be a late age for humans and other shorter lifespan folk Jorlin decides to become a priest. Having always had some sort of flair for what he considered fashion sense namely his fondness for hats that are semi-foppish or perhaps only worn by those of upper classed society, he was considered a bit odd by other folk on the surface but most of the gnomes back home never cared much they all had their own little nuances or obscurities.
