Description:
He is quiet and chooses to keep to himself until the bully chooses him and then it is full on no-holes-barred ass-whooping time. He is proficient with sword and bow. He is on a quest to collect as many spells as possible and will take what ever risk is needed to gather spells.

Background:
Darklin Sylvanas was born to a pair of wondering elves in the Welkwood near the Wild Coast. He was a very productive youth, he learned many trades and spent several years learning all of them. He spent 5 years as a bowyer/fletcher to the village master, he got bored with that and became a carpenter for 3 years. After building several houses he tired of it and moved on to leatherworking for 4 years and then black smithing for 3 years. He is good at his trades and makes some very nice items. He later decided to try magic and moved to Celene where he attended the Academy of High Magic. Darklin was among the top cadets from the school of High Magic, where he learned magic under the tutelage of Tenser himself , a very old and wise high elf who only trained the most qualified of apprentices. The desire to learn more about magic and spells was of the utmost import to his elven order. When his orders higher powers learned of rumors of a magical island that suddenly appeared out on the Azure Sea one day, a group of the brightest and strongest was assembled to investigate this mysterious place. Darklin was near the top of that list. After much magical scrying into the place, it was learned that the island contains an ancient library. One dedicated to magic and the creation of new spells. It wasn't long after that was learned that his group of spellswords was sent to investigate. His entire group of 6 was teleported to this island, arriving at the safest place they could for now. In a tiny settlement known only as Beachtown. Once his group of elves was settled in, they began their quest to find this fabled library immediately. So, Darklin never really got to learn the lay of the town or meet many of its people before his group set out. This was their first mistake. The elves set out for the center of the island, thinking that the higher elevation towards its middle might help them to locate the libraries whereabouts. That was their second mistake. Clues to follow up on.
1)There is one stone structure that is
known to exist. It is a ruined temple of
sorts, located at the end of that wide
loggers trail that leads into the jungle.
However, the temple is rumored to
house a very dangerous zombie loving
priest. If others have gone out there
already, perhaps they have weakened
this man enough to finally bring him
down. If he has killed wizards in the
past, he could still hold their
belongings and spell books as well.

2)Nobody has been to the center of
the island that I know of, but folks
say that the islands elevation clearly
rises towards its center. The thick
vegetation growing everywhere
makes it difficult to determine what
things are far off in the distance.


4)I have heard that a ring of
strange clear stone structures exists,
but have never seen one of them
myself.

5)Almost everyone who returns
from the natives camp at the waterfall
tells me that there is far better soil
and growing conditions over in that
area.

6)There have been sightings of a
small grey wispy wizard type who
likes to sing or play music to draw
people to him. He has been seen in
a few different places out in the
bush.
