Description:
Pinn Tamerlane wears a woodland common robe, over which is thrown a brown cloak that trails behind his 3'4' frame. He wears an old looking red girdle around his waist. His crystalline eyes sparkle with wit and his step is fast and firm, even though he leans heavily on his tall quarterstaff. He has soft, thin brown hair combed over his scalp.

Background:
Pinn Tamerlane was born in Phlan, the once great city in the Moonsea region of Faerun. The destructive governing of the Zhentarim forces ruined the Tamerlane family's fortune. After his mother and father succumbed to illness, he felt nothing left for him there and decided to leave. Unfortunately, his growing magical skills made him a target for recruitment, but he managed to dodge those efforts and fled the city on a merchant ship -- The Ugly Ness -- headed down the Stojanow River. The journey was farther than he anticipated, and he was forced to steal rations onboard the ship to stay alive. By the time they reached Elventree on the opposite side of the Moonsea, he was close to starvation. With the help of the elves, he nursed himself back to health. He joined an elven resistance to the Zhentarim, which led him to participate in a pair of battles. A terrifying necromantic sorceror led forces of the undead against them, and in the process banished Pinn from the Forgotten Realms. His sight went black and his consciousness was eaten apart by vertigo. That is the last he remembers. When he wakes, he discovers he has been teleported through time and space to a few miles north of Thyatis in Mystara. Scared and disoriented, he wanders into the city to seek out what his future holds.
