Description:
A dirt filthy peasant. An old shirt covering a bit of rusty mail, boots that have seen better days. Dirty , unshaven, looks older than his 24 years. Poorest of the poor. But his bow, arrows and quiver are clean and well maintained.
Background:
Jared is from a family of poor farmers. His local Lord required a large part of the farms crops every year for rent and taxes. The last year was a poor crop, but the tax man and his guards came and took the majority away anyway leaving the family to starve. Jared grabbed his bow and went hunting (poaching) on the Lord's private lands. He got away with it for awhile, but was eventually caught. He escaped and figured he would try his luck on the road, promising to send back coin to his family and return one day. |
