A thick brown tangled beard and long brown hair braided in a single braid hide most of his features. Green piercing eyes watch everyone with suspicion
Background:
Born of a drunken trist between an elven father and human mother Brevos's mother died of complications of child birth. With a father who wanted nothing to do with him Brevos was left in an orphanage where he was constantley reminded of his 1/2 blood origin and mistreated for being a half breed. At the age of six he ran from the orphanage taking up residence on the streets but again he was shunned by other street children for his origin. Eventually he would flee to the outrskirts of civilization there he was taken under the wing of a human hermit who taught him the secrets of living off the land and using the wilderness to his advantage.
The constant torment of his youth has led to Brevos being filled with self loathing. Prefering the company of nature, or just himself, Brevos tends to be distrusting of others. He has spent his life learning to track and fight monsters of all kinds. He does not do this for a great love to protect civilized people, rather it is a form of therapy that allows him to destroy the monster he sees within himself. This leads to him fightning with a lot of emotion and at times losing track of other situations going on around him.
He carries with him the enchnated blade Brood.
The first attempt of a wizard long ago to craft a blade to fight the forces of evil Brood was only a semi success. While the wizard was able to force a consciousness into the blade he was not skilled enough yet to force it to always adhere to the side of good, instead he crafted a consciousness that was moody. This child like petulance led to the naming of the blade for its brooding qualities.
The blade appears made of a dark gray metal with a silver pommel and a handle wrapped in green leather. Eldritch writing runs down the length of the spine of the sword and magical symbols are etched just above the hilt on the right side of the blade. It glows a soft blue light glow when drawn. |
