Description and Background
Description:
A young man in his mid-20s dressed simply, as a traveler, wearing simple clothes and holding a walking staff. His head is shaved, and his clothes are extremely neat and clean. He is short and pudgy, with strong, roughly calloused hands. Despite appearances, he is light on his feet and moves gracefully, like a dancer. When unoccupied, sometimes he fingers a set of prayer beads as he quietly talks to himself.

Background:
Pip was born to merchants in the town of Hochoch. At a young age, he was sent to the Temple to learn discipline and to devote his life to achieving perfection. He is currently on a pilgrimage to visit and study at a Temple in Hookhill. He is obliged to help the innocent and fight injustice where he can while on the journey. Pip's staff is made of black hardwood which was once one of the beams of a temple of his order. That temple was destroyed by dark forces, but in the aftermath, a master craftsman salvaged the beautiful wood and converted it into several precious items, one of which was this ornately carved quarterstaff given to Pip by his parents when he began his studies in the temple.
