Description:
AdaRue is of sturdy stock - tall, broad shouldered and wide-hipped, still with some childhood 'padding' on her still, but her muscles have some tone from a lifetime of peasant's work. She has a plain face with a few freckles and the gap in her front teeth shows when she smiles, which is often. She is friendly but has never had the opportunity to make any true friends, something she wishes to do. She is young, interested in boys and has a lot of energy. She spends her free time cleaning, cooking or most anything else that will improve the immediate area. She takes her divine powers for granted since all midwives she has met have them.
Background:
AdaRue was born and raised on a small farm. Being a tomboy, she helped out with all the chores, growing strong and healthy, but there was little time for frivolities like reading, making music or dancing. When she turned 12, she started apprenticing with her aunt, the local midwife/healer of the community. Her aunt taught her to worship the Mother, the goddess of of fertility, harvest, cooking and community, and AdaRue enjoyed the work and, with her aunt's tutelage, honed her intuition and insight.
AdaRue has now left her Aunt's services and is looking to become a journey-woman with another midwife, elsewhere. |
