Description and Background   
Description:
Urdur stands at 3'4'. His appearance is dark for a gnome, with dark tan skin and brown hair. His eyes, however, are as blue as the sky. Urdur usually wears a dark hooded robe. He is skinny and wiry for a gnome. He rarely goes anywhere without his trusty canine companion, Mittens.

Background:
The Shimmerstone gnomes were always a little strange, even for gnomes. The clan had a predilection for magic, for one thing, and always seemed to produce an illusionist or two every generation. Urdur was no exception. The Shimmerstones also experienced the 'landnamsmadr' (a word difficult to translate from gnomish, meaning something like 'wanderlust') to a much greater degree than other gnomes. Again, Urdur was no exception, although he seemed to insist on finishing his studies of illusion magic before beginning his wanderings. Upon hearing of the strangeness of the human village, Urdur couldn't resist investigating. Preferring to travel with only his beloved hound, Mittens, Urdur set out to the human village, not sure of what he might find.
