Description and Background   
Description:
Rainey is a large man with a big belly. He has close-cropped brown hair and a full bushy beard, which covers his lower jaw and neck, and beady eyes which are often lost in reverie. He is careful to wipe his hands carefully on his shirtfront before touching anything valuable, but his hands are often greasy, as is his shirt. He is not very physical, and extended running leaves him wheezy and tired. He's good natured, though, so long as you don't challenge him on his knowledge of monster traits.

Background:
The studious fourth son of a modestly well-off merchant, Rainey apprenticed under a famed monster hunter, who told him lots of stories about how to defeat different critters, most of them likely false. Rainey is excited to put his expert-level knowledge to the test facing off against the forces of evil.
