Description and Background   
Description:
Keilif is 5'11, weighs 160 lbs, has blonde hair, and blue eyes. He is quick to share a laugh and overall a jovial young man; however, he does experience bouts of melancholy from time to time, especially when thoughts of his father's passing surface. He bears a fairly large scar on his left forearm from when he was a child and fell into the hearth while roughhousing with his cousin.

Background:
Keilif Zythanthus was born in the small town of Saltmarsh to a family of devoutly religious and humble crab fisherman. He was raised to follow the faith of Shileil the Sea Mother, a capricious but just goddess of the oceans. When Keilif was 14, he lost his father in a fishing accident, forcing Keilif to go live with his uncle, Darn, who is also a crab fisherman and denizen of Saltmarsh. Keilif has always held aspirations of someday joining the church; however, his father was not supportive of Keilif's designs, always telling Keilif that he was needed at home to help support the family trade of crabbing. Keilif has a profound affinity for the ocean and for fishing in general, but he cannot seem to sever the thought that there might be something greater in store for him.
