Description and Background
Description:
Tobias is tall, blonde haired man with pale skin wearing a suit of banded mail and leather along with a tricorn hat. He wields carries a large halberd and has a book slung across his waste, he has the bearing of a man with great strength while his hazel eyes give off a look of a keen intellect.

Background:
Tobias had lived all his life alone with his father raising hounds for hunting he had known little of the world outside of where he lived. One day a stranger appeared on their doorstep injured and looking for a healer, Tobias' father sent him to the village to retrieve the local healer. When he returned he found that both the stranger and his father were gone, there had been a struggle and the hounds inside the kennels were slaughtered. Searching high and low Tobias found no sign of either his father or the stranger, with his primary means of living destroyed he set out into the world as a wanderer hoping to make a living for himself, and more importantly perhaps find out what had happened that fateful Night. He's been travelling the roads for some fifteen odd years with nary a sign but he has found himself settling into Vornheim. .... In actuality Tobias' father was a cruel and brutal man who abused the boy ever since his mother had died and he had taken to the drink. Unable to suffer the old man's abuses any longer the boy had snapped, and stabbed his father to death. He hid the body slaughtered the hounds, concocted the tale of the stranger and fled his home with what little coin the two had left between them settling into the role of the wandering vagabond, it's here in Vornheim he hopes to settle in and make his fortune. Perhaps here he can finally rid himself of the nightmares and guilt that have plagued him since that night.

Notes
Toad Throat Amulet
This black-chained amulet bears a smooth jade-colored pendant, a coin-sized stone pulled from the head of a cursed toad. When the pendant is placed under the wearer's tongue, it has varied curious properties. (When the toadstone is under tongue, roll 1d6. On a 1-5, it has the effect of the Lvl 2 cleric spell Delay Poison. On a 6, the wearer's tongue becomes a thick, mucous-laden toad's tongue for 1d4 days. Speech is impeded slightly and it looks kinda gross, but you have an increased rapport with amphibians for the duration.
