Description and Background    Description: Gideon is of average size and build for a dwarf. He has the square jaw and dark hair that his family has been known for. He carries himself with pride, though any who spend time with him no that he seems insecure about his station and his own abilities. He constantly obsesses about his weapons and their condition, spending most of his downtime sharpening and polishing them each in turn. Background: Gideon comes from a long line of great warriors and heroes. He himself is merely average, the last remaining son of Valmarr Stonebeard, and thus far a large disappointment to his father. His elder brother held station in the King's army, but fell in battle with the Lord of Flames some years ago. Gideon has grown up in his brother's shadow and has never excelled to the point of impressing his father, though not from lack of effort. He volunteered to the King's mission of hunting down the Black Druid in hopes that he can gain honor for his family's name and prove himself to his father.
