Description and Background
Description:
The massive barbarian seems more like a panther in a man’s skin than a man. His broad shoulders and powerfully muscled limbs are brown from outland sun and scarred from battle. His eyes are sullen and watchful, smoldering with an inner fire beneath his long black mane. His sword, forged of ebony steel, is as big as he, and almost as merciless.
Though Ulfang has spent years among the great cities of the world, he’s remained a barbarian throughout, concerned with the simple, primal aspects of life; women, strong drink, good food, the joys of combat and revenge. He sees civilized men as soft and decadent, and wizards as greedy, power hungry devils. A man of his word, and a follower of his own code, his behavior is not subject to the laws or customs of any civilized society or the will of any god.
Background:
When Ulfang was 17, his tribe was raided by a cult of slavemongers who murdered the men and captured every woman and child he knew and sold them into slavery. For 13 years, Ulfang has searched for his scattered kin to find them, free them and murder their owners. This quest has taken him across the world where he’s been thief, pirate, soldier and adventurer. So far he has freed 137. 81 remain. He hopes they all still live.
His latest lead is an evil tomb where dark things gather. He believes some of his kin are held there as slaves. He’s heard a raid on the tomb is being planned. He intends to join it.
