Background:
Mort the sneaky thief, who saw more in a half-orc than any of the other kids at school. Mort prevented a brutal fight in the school yard by stopping Kormak and defending him against the other kids. Mort saw something more in Kormak that to this day Kormak still questions. Mort and Kormack long time childhood friends have stuck together even in adulthood. They adventure together and fight those they get paid to fight. They also just try and fix wrongs they see deserve a right outcome. Kormack is the bruting warrior and Mort is the sneaky thief. They've saved one another more times than they can count. Mort could careless what race you are or what your upraising was. He was the son of a drunk who beat his mother mercilessly. So he too knows what it is like to have skeletons in your closet as to your upraising, therefore he did not care that Kormak's mother was ravaged by an orc and that Kormak was the result. These two are good friends as most would find out after spending a time with them in a tavern or adventuring on the road.
