Description and Background
Description:
Average height with Golden hair and a smile always on his face. He will tend to be a more dramatic person with every situation, as if life was a big play and everyone had a role. He carries a sword with him that has writing etched into the base of the blade and the Pommel seems to be wood carved with swirls and end with a carved fox head at the bottom.

Background:
Victor was always the person the villagers would warn travelers about, most believed him to be out of his mind. After being kicked out of his village for setting half of it on fire due to 'Technical Difficulties' as he would claim it to be he traveled the country side, earning coin from town to town by doing magic tricks in the town market or square for tips or any other odd jobs that came to his attention, it could be argued that each town was better off normally before he arrived since each town he visited there were always accidents happening, random fires, cats falling from the sky, sword fights between two heavily armed knights in the town center, etc. One such town was just recovering from what seems to be a flash flood from the nearby sewage system, Victor was sitting in the Tavern drinking and telling stories about heroes and monsters that were probably never true when a group of bandits had decided to come in. Victor, being one to never miss an opportunity, saw a chance to play a harmless prank upon this group of men that were obviously not having enough fun from the way they scowled at everyone; Needless to say that said prank was not taken very well and it seemed poor Victor's time had come. The tavern was in an uproar as the villagers ran and the bandits cornered Victor and were saying truly mean things to him. As the bandits were about to begin doing what they had taken the past 5 minutes describing in great detail one of them fell, screaming in pain; They whirled around to see what had just happened when they were met with a rather large woman in metal armor, blood still trickling off of her sword as she swung again towards another bandit, cutting him down. Victor, never missing an opportunity, drew his sword and began slashing at the turned bandits legs, crippling them to the ground as the unknown ally cut them all down. When it was all over the woman simply left the tavern, Victor would not let this momentous moment pass him by and ran after her, stopping her on the road and proclaiming h

Engineering Non-Weapon Proficiency
This proficiency is required for the design and construction of objects and installations of all sizes. Note
that carpentry, stonemasonry, blacksmithing, or other proficiencies also might be necessary for the actual
building. Characters can design and supervise the building of houses, boats, small bridges, palisades, and
towers—of up to about 30 feet high without proficiency checks.

Characters with this skill can try to design large bridges, fortresses, ships, war machines, locks and dams,
and other more complicated projects. Plans for these types of objects generally require at least a week—
more if an exceptionally large project is being attempted. Complicated tasks require successful proficiency
checks before a workable design can be made. If a check fails on a roll of less than 20, however, the
engineer will be aware of the failure and can seek to create a new design—go back to the drawing board, so to speak. On a roll of 20, the design is flawed but the danger will not be discovered until after the object is built.
Navigation Non-Weapon Proficiency
Characters with the navigation proficiency know how to fix their locations on the seas and oceans of the
campaign world by observing celestial clues. Characters with a sextant (not necessarily available in all
campaigns) and a compass, and who can see the stars or observe a sunrise or sunset, will know where they are—no proficiency check is necessary.

Such a skilled character can navigate across entire oceans without becoming lost, though bad weather can obscure the celestial clues and blow a vessel far off course. If a character does not have the proper tools, or is forced to work with only a general idea of direction (fog obscures the sunset, for example), the DM should secretly make the proficiency check. Success means the character is reasonably accurate in plotting the day’s course. Failure means an off-course error that varies by the extent of the failure—a roll of 20 has the character going practically the exact opposite direction!
