Description and Background   
Description:
Flambeau is fairly average looking considering his high status in the priesthood. He was never one for glitz or glamour and prefers to be known for his actions rather than his standing. His clothing is modest (unless he is in his ritual vestments) but he always keeps them (and himself) clean and kempt. Although his neck and face look normal, (except for a few battle scars) his hands, arms, and bald head are all badly scarred from years of ritualistic sacrificial immolation. He has a bit of a rough and surly personality at times as well, so if you add in his deformities, it can be easily gleaned that he isn't the most charismatic of priests. However, it can also be said that in battle, with his size, flowing red robes, red armor, and flaming battle hammer, he can look like a very dangerous adversary. He has one large tattoo in red letters written across his chest. The words read 'The night is dark and full of Terrors'.

Background:
Born (and subsequently orphaned) in the great island city of Lys, Flambeau had a rather unique start in the church. He was actually 'found' as a child by the clergy of Rhllor near some retention ponds that were set up (as an illegal 'dumping grounds') by the local alchemists guild. He was found in the middle of 7 small ponds that were literally 'on fire'. The child, filled with curiosity, actually started the fires and, instead of fleeing, stayed to stare into them because he was mesmerized by the flames. The priests, not knowing that the ponds were topped with a toxic and highly flammable mixture of chemicals, took this as the ultimate sign from their god. The child was immediately brought before the high priest and it was soon learned that this was no 'normal' orphan boy. Being so 'blessed', he was offered the very best in tutelage and education there was to be found. Growing up in the service of Rhllor, he got to travel extensively to the other nearby known temples and meet with the highest of their ranks.
