Background:
Balasar was very much into reading books, he he was also intrigued by adventure. He did learn more than just parlor tricks he also took the time to learn the importance of fighting with a sword, dagger, staff and sling. As a child he liked using a sling to show off shooting stones at objects he's setup at different distances on tree branches and fences. When not showing his skill with the sling he would perform some basic magic tricks to earn a little coin for his travel needs. Balasar did find out from his father that he is the second son his father has, his father had a son with another woman not his mother. Knowing he has a half-brother out there in the world has fueled part of Balasar's travelling to seek out and find his long lost older half-brother. His father told him of the mothers name Gisella though she did not take the family name Qinro, she later married another and has his family name.

A pair of these gloves appears to be nothing more than light leather handwear of the everyday sort.
Naturally, they radiate magic if sa detected. They size themselves magically to fit any hand, from
that of a huge human to that of a small halfling, when drawn on. A pair of gauntlets of dexterity
increase overall dexterity by 4 points if at 6 or less, by 2 points if ot 7-13, ond by 1 point if
dexterity is 14 or higher. Furthermore, wearing these gloves enables non-thief characters to
pick pockets or open locks as if he or she were a 4th level thief; if worn by a thief they increase
these abilities by adding 10 to the normal percentage chance for the character‘s level.
