Description and Background
Description:
Pockets is a bit of an anomaly in the hobbit community as his physical and mental development have gone in opposite extremes. His physical strength and general healthiness have been uniquely advanced since early childhood, and he has always been a larger specimen. Pockets almost always been taller and more stocky than his peers, and even most elders. Conversely, his mental and emotional development has been -- delayed, to put it kindly. Likely stemming from the fact that Pockets was born in the breached position, and was deprived of oxygen during an extended period of time during the actual birthing process. Even know, despite being a young adult, Pockets has the intellect of someone half his age. He possesses a youthful innocence and naiveté that makes it difficult for him to make decisions. This lack of decisiveness also causes him to be too trusting of others, even complete strangers. Pockets only wears clothing in earth tones -- mostly blues and browns -- and every piece of clothing he wears has been outfitted with extra pockets sewn into them.

Background:
Born Perrin Hilltopple, to Eldon and Cora Hilltopple, young Perrin was given a nickname -- Pockets -- early on when his own birth name proved too difficult for him to enunciate as a child. The 'pear' in 'Perrin' was always spoken with a 'pa' sound instead (much to his mother's dismay). Maybe it was because it was a word he overheard often while spending time in his mother's shop, 'pockets' was one of the earliest words Perrin was able to speak both clearly and consistently. The Pockets nickname turned out to be quite fortuitous as he has evolved into quite the hoarder. Pockets as a tendency to collect odd trinkets and mementos from wherever he is, and this curiosity and fascination with gathering new objects has sometimes gotten him into trouble... especially when those procured items turn out to be actual belongings of someone else. Pockets is honest to a fault, and is almost incapable of deception. A trait his mother Cora is both extremely proud of, but also one that also leaves her filled with worry. Despite is larger size and unusual strength, Pockets was a target of frequent teasing and taunting during his youth, when he was more timid and unsure of his capabilities. Now, as an adult, Pockets is much more confident in his physical capabilities and is near fearless. Pockets tends to be extremely protective of anyone or anything being oppressed or physically threatened. Pockets has a lot of nervous energy, and is known to be very fidgety. Sitting still for any length of time can be a major challenge for him.

Pre-Existing Relationships
Falco Boffin (OGRE MAGE)
While certainly rare in the hobbit race, Pockets has always
struggled with relationships, and social interactions. He was
born and raised with a moral compass that has always been
steadfast in the direction of complete and total honesty. No
exceptions.

Enter Falco.

Pockets is certainly familiar with Falco, having observed him
from a distance for some time, but would not consider him a
friend. But definitely not an enemy. An acquaintance.

Pockets has always been impressed with Falco's 'talents,' and
any similar tendency he possesses for himself are the product
of observing Falco from afar and mimicking and practicing the
behavior.

Pockets still struggles with the application of these 'talents' on
occasion, however, and on more than one occasion has paid a
visit to old farmer Maggot's fields and replaced anything Falco
had acquired.
