Description and Background    Description: An older African American woman dressed exactly like a retired librarian. Background: Born in Maine; BA from Connecticut College; PhD in Library Science from Columbia; worked as a research librarian at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN (Retired). Married: Wilbur Conklin, Professor of Art History (Deceased) Four Children: India, Colette, June, Lily (all grown) When Vanette (Etta) Conklin was working at the Rhodes Library, she saw unexplainable things—especially in the Egyptology collections. She followed the field of paranormal investigation as a passionate amateur from the Ghostbuster's debut in the 80's until her retirement and the death of her husband. Etta, now a graduate of GBU, has moved Fort Smith to be closer to her youngest daughter, Lily, her partner, Marie, and their three children.
