Description and Background   
Description:
Oiran dresses in the brown robes of an Urban Curate of Fharlanghn. When he is dressed on his plate mail he dons a tunic made in the image of the robe over it. His suit of plate mail armor is of a design and style that went out of fashion some 40 years ago, but looks pristine and brand new.

Background:
Oiran was born in the Free City of Greyhawk. His mother died shortly after his birth and he has no memories of her. His father was a cleric of Fharlanghn who left the city for a permanent pilgrimage when Oiran was still an infant. He was raised in the care of the local temple of the Deity and over the years became a mystical healer of some renown among the faithful and travelers. Chaffing under the rooted life he had, even in such an urbane place as Greyhawk City, he decided to join the Rural Order of Fharlanghn and become a wanderer before his 30th birthday. Seeking new sights, experiences and adventure he soon began associating with adventuring parties, offering his services as healer which were seldom refused. His magical suit of plate mail were a parting gift from an elder brother at the temple, a retired wandering knight that had no further use for it. Since leaving Greyhawk he has obtained a couple other magical items during his travels and adventures.
