Description and Background   
Description:
Slightly pale and gaunt, Mortimer's eyes have deep dark bags under his eyes like he hasn't gotten a decent night of sleep ever, his light brown hair is cut short. He wear's standard travelers clothing along with a coat, while he's walking anyone particularly observant will notice he very slightly favors his left leg.

Background:
Mortimer Almet came from a poor family on Alcmene where he sorely despised his life of poverty. Thinking that the only way he could escape said life was through education he took on any odd jobs he could as soon as he was old enough to properly swing a hammer, with the goal to save enough money to pay for his tuition to one of the worlds finest schools. Eventually through years of tireless hard work Mortimer graduated and landed himself a job as a Psi-Tech researcher for the Wayfarer Group Corporation travelling to distant planets and (hopefully) unlocking countless mysteries. On one such expedition to investigate a recently unearthed Psi-Tech artifact a freak accident had occurred resulting in the artifact exploding seriously injuring himself and most of his team. The team had been blamed for the artifacts destruction, as a result they had been fired, blacklisted, and thrown out into the streets with no future. Each member went their separate ways some went on to perform only the most menial of jobs while the ones too crippled to work or just plain unable to find a job either returned to their families to be cared for while the rest became one of the other countless number of homeless living their lives on the streets. Mortimer refused to find himself returning to a life of abject poverty and mediocrity and instead decided to seek out a group of Tech Raiders that he had encountered during his time with the Wayfarer Group, these people would swoop in either before or during a corporation's expedition and try to steal any rare tech that they could to sell off to private buyers, black markets, or even other corps. that had hired them to sabotage rivals. Using the raiders as a way to get his revenge on the corp. he blamed for ruining his life Mortimer spent his most recent years travelling as one of them using his insider knowledge to make the Wayfarer Group a much easier target helping to plan raids and execute strategies against them.
