Description and Background

Description:
In his 30s with skin just darker than tan. Of middle build and well fed if not a bit plump. Dark haired with a neatly trimmed spade beard and mustache and hair. He speaks with a cultured accent and has an unconscious superiority to his manner even when he tries to be kind. He favors robes and rich fabrics.

Background:
The son of a senior bureaucrat in the Archontean bureaucracy Niphon grew up with wealth and privilege. He showed early gifts and was entered into the collegia as soon as possible. He is a member of the Order of Thoth and thinks of himself as a seeker of ancient lore rather than an adventurer.
