The shield is made of reinforced wood, and has a carving of a flaming motif. The wood is reddish, and when viewed at certain angles gives the impression of embers on its surface. About the Shield It seems to be forged from some dense impervious wood - the shield bears a deep, charred hue, a result of the wood’s natural resistance to flame. Though its origins are unknown to you, its craftsmanship is unmistakable - remarkably light yet as sturdy as steel, with a surface that seems to shrug off heat and embers with ease.
