Description and Background
Description:
Adelphocles is a High Born centaur from an ancient line of nobles. He stands taller and leaner than a lof of his contemporary comrades of modern times and has a palomino coloring that is only further emphasized by his equally light-colored locks of hair that he wears long over his shoulders.  He stands as tall and as heavy in the hoof as any warhorse, but with the agility of several lighter kinsmen as well. He wears an ancient style of circlet around his head, denoting his long lost royal heritage as well as carries a wooden shield with his coat of arms upon it.  Everything about his appearance, right down to the way he carries himself, screams of the position he once held in the long-forgotten past, as well as the rugged squint in his hooded green eyes and slightly dusky sunkissed skin of a seasoned warrior and woodsman.

Background:
Adelphocles of Silvertree was once, in a now forgotten history, a noble in line for the throne over the centaur nation of Silvertree. His line has ruled over what was at the time one of the most powerful and modern peoples in all the known world. But sadly, all great powers seem to fall.  As mankind rose from their own primitive savagery, they began trying to make kingdoms of their own and were quite successful. The Kingdom of Silvertree encouraged them and readily helped them make themselves strong and organized. Power though, especially among humans, attracted the worst of them to try to seize it.  In a conflict that was known at the time as the Inner Kingdom War among the humans. The centaurs at first were reluctant to become involved in what seemed like a domestic conflict until it became more clear that the rebels lead by an arch wizard named Malfric were gaining power and threatening the balance of the nation they had helped their allies build. The Kingdom of Silver then rushed to the aid of their friends lead by King Konjuro. The battles, for a long while, seemed to be going well, but it dragged on for many years. Prince Adelphocles grew up in a world where there was always war and was trained in the ways of martial arts and philosophy as well as the lessons of history and leadership. When he was of age, he took up a lance in defense of his nation as well as that of the Kingdom of Man. Everything came to a head during the Battle of Fields. The rebels had finally won the capital, forcing King Konjuro and his followers to flee to their allies in the east. The Silvertree people welcomed them in, giving them housing and food, but Malfric was not satisfied. The wizard rallied his zealots together and made moves towards the Centaur Nation. During the Battle of the Fields, Adelphocles and his father fought hard and coordinated the defenses. The battle raged for days and Malfric himself was forced to engage them. He cast horrible magics over his enemies as well as h

Racial Traits
-Tauroid Build. Even though your size is Large, your upper, humanoid torso is still of similar scale to that of other humanoid races. You use equipment and wield weapons as if you were a Medium-sized creature. You have twice the carrying capacity of a Medium creature, and you require four times as much food and water as a Medium creature would.

-Hooves. You are never unarmed. Your hooves are a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you make an unarmed strike with your hooves, the damage die for your unarmed strike is a d8. You are considered proficient in these strikes.

-Nomadic Heritage. By the time a centaur reaches adulthood, they have become experts at navigating the lands that they are most familiar with. Choose one of the following environments: deserts, forests, grasslands, hills, mountains, or swamps. While you are traveling through the chosen environment, you add twice your proficiency bonus to Intelligence (Nature) and Wisdom (Perception and Survival) checks related to your immediate surroundings, instead of any proficiency bonus that you would normally apply. Additionally, you ignore difficult terrain while in your chosen environment.

-Trample. When you use your action to take the Dash action on your turn, you may make one attack with your hooves as a bonus action.

-Ungainly. You cannot make use of mounts and have trouble with things your humanoid counterparts may not such as climbing stairs, ladders, and rope.

-Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and Sylvan.

-Proficient in Archery +1 to hit.
